ORGANIZER

The conference Social Justice: New Perspectives, New Horizons is organized by the Group for the Social Engagement Studies, part of the Institute for Philosophy and Social Theory, University of Belgrade, in cooperation with the Friedrich Ebert Stiftung, Center for Advanced Studies of the University of Rijeka (CAS – SEE), Center for Ethics, Law and Applied Philosophy (CELAP) and Center for Politics of Emancipation (CPE).

The conference is supported by the Serbian Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development, Heinrich Böll Stiftung, Goethe Institut Belgrad, Open Society Foundation Serbia,  Institut français de Serbie, Rosa Luxemburg Stiftung Southeast Europe and Instituto Camões.

The Group for Social Engagement Studies is the research unit of the Institute for Philosophy and Social Theory, University of Belgrade. GSES combines theoretical and empirical research within a community of philosophers, sociologists, anthropologists, political scientists, and historians.
